Located in Central America has a privileged location, bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Its location is strategic, since 2000 controls the Panama Canal which connects both oceans.
Considered as the Hub of the Americas, its international airport has connections to all over the world.
Panama with a modern infrastructure and cosmopolitan city makes it very appealing. It is considered one of the world’s best retirement havens. It is a small country: the city, mountains and beaches are at a very close distance. It takes only a couple of hours to get from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean. CURRENCY
In practice the Panamanian economy is dollarized, US dollars are of legal tender and used for all paper currency. The Panamanian currency is the Balboa which is fixed at the same rate as the dollar.

Panama offers a variety of visas to apply to obtain residency depending on the necessity.

With a vast experience in the Panama real estate market Dora Gonzalez-Ruiz started working in the World Trade Center Panama project in 1994 and some years after at the end of the project continued working for important international real estate franchises such as Century 21 and others. Today she is working as an independent real estate broker and is member of ACOBIR the Panama Real Estate Association.
Graduated from Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua USMA in Panama city she obtained a degree in Law and Political Sciences.
